Reflexology for Fertility

The aim of a reflexology treatment is to bring about 'homeostasis' (balance) in the body by massaging the feet and stimulating the nerves by applying pressure to the areas of the body reflected in the feet, since the feet are believed to be a mirror of the body. Within the body there are pathways of energy which may be interrupted through illness/toxins/pollution/stress/fatigue/diet etc. and can create a build up of crystalline deposits. These are broken down by the massage so that circulation, energy and vitality are restored, bringing about balance. In this specialist treatment we focus on the Reproductive and Endocrine (hormone) systems in order to achieve homeostasis in these areas to promote conception (works on both men and women).

Reflexology for Pregnancy

In this specialist treatment we focus on whatever areas are out of balance due to the pregnancy eg. many women suffer with swollen ankles and feet so we would work on lymphatic drainage to reduce the swelling. We might also need to include work on the bowel area to help with constipation, the urinary area and the back/hips/knee areas. Each treatment is individual and tailored to your needs at that time. The treatment is also deeply relaxing so will help promote better sleep and, nearer the due date, relax the body in preparation for labour.
